Part II LaFayette Reunion Post
My mother and I wanted to bring elements of the prairies into the Reunion displays and decor. We came up with the idea for the centerpieces while flipping through countless books about Saskatchewan and from mom's memories of all the grasses, wild flowers and bugs on the prairies. For the Kids Craft Table we created little colouring booklets out of sheets of foam for the children to decorate with foam stickers, markers and glitter. The colouring sheets were found on the Province of Saskatchewan website. There is a really cool moose, a couple prairie scenes, fishing scenes, we even included the Sask Provincial flag and the Canadian flag since the event took place on the Canada Day Long weekend and we are such proud Canadians.
