Something Old: The tea cups above are a collection of my grandmothers, it was such an honor to have a piece of her represented on such a special day. She took pride in them and for that reason I will always treasure tea time.
Bridal Shower Success Tips:
Do go all out to make the bride feel special, this is most important!
Do set a theme/ choose some colors, spend a little dough
Do plan in advance and create a checklist to help your event flow smoothly
Do use EVITE it rocks and helps you keep track of your guest numbers as the event approaches (I still LOVE hard invites, they are so pretty and fun)
Do make or buy some Martha Stewart decorations, use this blog for some EASY decor ideas and inspiration
Do invite ALL the ladies invited to the wedding
Do Not invite those not invited to the wedding and if you really want to, run it by the bride first!
Do have someone keep track of the gifts as you open them
Do Not get overwhelmed and make a big fuss. Keep it simple - one game, have it catered if possible or have friends and family bring a plate to share
Do Not play raunchy games, save that for the staggette
Do NOT forget to send thank you cards out!!!
